Zug, January 20th – Acurast has officially launched its Mainnet and Token Generation Event (TGE), bringing the largest Real Decentralized smartphone-based Compute Network into production.
On the 7th of July, 2023 Acurast Canary was launched, marking the first milestone towards a Decentralized Compute Network powered by smartphones. Acurast started with just 1 phone, and now has over 169K phones onboarded, over 364k deployments, and 589M+ on-chain transactions, showcasing a solid base for its launch.
Now, the time has come to move on to the next phase: launching the much anticipated TGE and Mainnet. This is not only a great achievement by the team, but a birth that marks a shift from centralized data centers to a globally distributed infrastructure powered by everyday Phones. With Mainnet live, Acurast transitions from an incentivized testnet to a permissionless, production-ready compute layer designed to support secure workloads across AI, Web3, and enterprise applications.
