The Acurast Association is Announcing the Cloud Rebellion Airdrop to Reward its Rebels
The Acurast Association has announced plans for the upcoming Cloud Rebellion Airdrop to recognize and reward Rebels, community members who have been instrumental in building Acurast from the ground up.
When Acurast’s main contribution team launched the Cloud Rebellion, it was a fun and engaging way to strengthen the Acurast community. With a playful twist, it challenged people to rebel against the monopoly of cloud compute by a few companies, while spreading awareness about Acurast. What began as a bold initiative, quickly turned into a huge success, and the Cloud Rebellion evolved into multiple seasons with different quests, each fueling excitement, strengthening the community, and building up Acurast further together with. Early compute providers and dedicated community members were doing the heavy lifting, but also gained a well earned headstart in accumulating MIST☁️ (points), all with the common goal to the community flourish.
Over the past months, the Cloud Rebellion has grown exponentially. New Rebels have joined our ranks to contribute and reinforce the mission of a future with a truly decentralized compute network powered by a paradigm shift that taps into phones across the world. Along the way, initiatives such as Lootbox drops offered members the chance to claim rewards for their dedication. But the Acurast team believes the community deserves more. Now, it’s time to recognize the early adopters, the true Cloud Rebels and the Acurast Enthousiasts.
Therefore, the Acurast Association has decided to launch and distribute with the Cloud Rebellion Airdrop 10,000,000 ACU tokens, allocated to members of the Cloud Rebellion, based on the amount of MIST☁️ (points) they have accumulated.
How does it work?
Eligibility: Participants must be signed up to the Cloud Rebellion
Rewards: By completing quests, members receive MIST points
Allocation: The 10,000,000 ACU tokens distribution will be proportional to the total MIST collected across all Seasons at a snapshot date before TGE
Claim: Tokens have to be claimed by Rebels in the Acurast Hub
Mechanism: All Cloud Rebellion Airdrop tokens are vested linearly for 24 months
How to claim
Eligible members will be able to claim their token amount directly in the Acurast Hub, where the Cloud Rebellion Airdrop checker and claimer will be made available soon. Airdrop claims will open at TGE.
